Palette – Americana Acrylics
Bittersweet Chocolate, Burnt Sienna, Country Red, Dark Chocolate, Deep
Burgundy, Deep Midnight Blue, Fawn, French Grey Blue, Hauser Green Dark,
Hauser Green Medium, Heritage Brick, Lamp Black, Marigold, Oyster Beige,
Warm White, and Zinc.
I have listed the brushes I feel comfortable using but you should feel free to
substitute according to your preference.
Shaders: Size 4, 6, 8, 10 and 16.
Filberts: Size 4 and 6.
Old Scruffy brushes.
1” foam brush.
Surface – I used a piece of pine that was in my “stash”. This can be painted on
any surface of your choosing (canvas might be interesting!).
Saw tooth hanger.
Gray graphite paper.
White graphite paper.
Americana Sealer in Finish Matte.
Finish sealer of your choice. I tried Martha Stewart’s Crafts Decoupage, Multi-
Surface Durable Matte Finish and it provided a very smooth and matte finish.
Oval sanding pad (if using a wood surface).
Stylus – multiple sizes for dip dots.
Stencil – 1/4 inch check design.
