Surface: I painted this piece on a 3-gallon water cooler I purchased at a Flea Market. Please feel free to enlarge or reduce the pattern to fit your project.
Paints: DecoArt Americana: Antique Green, Burnt Sienna, Burnt Umber, Hauser Light Green, Heritage Brick, Lamp Black, Oyster Beige, Plantation Pine, Raw Sienna, Soft Black, True Ochre.
Mediums: Americana multi- purpose sealer, Americana matte sealer/finisher spray.
Brushes: Assorted flats, angle shaders, rounds, liner, dry brush. I use Dynasty Black Gold brushes and love the Mezzaluna brushes for dry brushing. I also love Chris Haughey’s Epic scrip liner.
Miscellaneous supplies: Piece of homespun fabric torn into strips to wrap handle and make bow. Sandpaper, old candle (a birthday candle will work fine), Permanent fine point marker for stich lines, I used an ultra-fine point Sharpie. Flat Black spray paint. Old rag and white vinegar for cleaning.
