SUPPLIES: SURFACE: I purchased these sleds at The Dollar Tree. The total size is 3” x 7 ¾”. The design area is about 3” by 4” so other similarly sized surfaces will work. Enlarge or reduce for other surfaces as needed. PAINT: DecoArt Americana Acrylic Bubblegum Pink, Burnt Umber, Colonial Blue, Cranberry Wine, Deep Burgundy, Desert Sand, Fiery Red (NEON), Graphite, Hauser Dark Green, Hauser Medium Green, Leaf Green, Midnight Green (or Black Green), Raw Sienna, Sand, Scarlet (or another orangey red), Snow White, Tomato Red, Uniform Blue, Winter Blue BRUSHES: Use good quality brushes unless otherwise indicated Size 20 flat or ¾” wash for base coating Size 2, 4, and or 6 flats for base coating elements Sizes 18/0 and 00 script liners ½” angle or brush you use for floating Old size two flat for fir trees Spatter brush 3/8” Maxine’s mop or a stipple brush of similar shape and size OTHER SUPPLIES: 220 sand paper 3M P320 flexible sandpaper or 600 wet/dry sandpaper (found at home improvement stores or automotive stores). Multi-Purpose Sealer by DecoArt Varnish of choice.
