PAINT:
DecoArt Americana Acrylic. Antique Gold, Avocado, Baby Blue, Black Green*, Burnt Sienna, Burnt Umber, Cadmium Orange, Cadmium Yellow, Cranberry Wine, Hauser Medium Green, Heritage Brick, Khaki Tan, Paynes Grey*, Raw Sienna, Snow White, Tomato Red, Warm Beige, Winter Blue
Note: I had already finished painting this when DecoArt announced that Paynes Grey and Black Green were on the proposed discontinued list for 2023. You can substitute Deep Midnight Blue for Paynes Grey, and mix Deep Forest Green + a little Lamp Black for Black Green. You could also use Midnight Green in place of Black Green although it is also discontinued. If substituting these colors, add Colonial Blue to your palette.
BRUSHES:
1” wash
Small foliage stipple brush or similar
Sizes 2-6 flats
½ to 5/8” flat for painting the snow on the hills
½” angle or what you float with
Size 6/0 and 00 script liners
Old size 2 flat for fir trees
Your favorite brushes
OTHER SUPPLIES:
Gesso or JoSonja’s All Purpose Sealer or Multi-Purpose Sealer by DecoArt
600 wet/dry sandpaper or piece of old paper sack
Varnish of choice: I prefer JoSonja’s Polyurethane Matte Varnish

Old grey graphite
Stylus
Palette knife
