Tricks and Treats E-Pattern by Vicki Saum

Surface: I painted this design on an old oil can that I purchased at a flea market. Feel free to enlarge or reduce the pattern to fit your project.
Paints: DecoArt Americana paints: Avocado Dip, Burnt Orange, Burnt Umber, Georgia Clay, Lamp Black, Orchid, Oyster Beige, Royal Purple, Raw Sienna, Russet, Soft Black, True Ochre, Winter Blue, Zinc.
Brushes: Assorted flats, angles, and liners. I use Dynasty Black Gold Brushes and love the Mezzaluna brushes for dry brushing and stippling.
Mediums: Americana Multi-Purpose sealer, Americana matte finish/sealer spray, Americana matte Decou-Page.
Miscellaneous supplies: Scrapbook paper, I purchased my piece from Hobby Lobby and cut into 1 ¾ inch strips. (I have included a scan of the paper I used, you would need to print onto a light card stock). A paper mache star, a wood or rusty metal star would work as well. Stylus, ultra -fine point Sharpie. Krylon matte spray paint, sandpaper, old rag and white vinegar for cleaning.
