I started painting in 1979 and haven’t stopped. It was hard for me to do other's patterns, I had to do it my way. So I started designing my own patterns. Then I started doing craft shows and it grew from there. The next thing I knew, I opened a shop. It was fun and lots of work. I do miss it. I closed when I started publishing books since I just didn’t have time to do both.
I have been married for 48 years and have 2 sons, Tony and Adam. We have 3 grandsons and one granddaughter. We live on a small farm with cows, one donkey (Flash) and a few chickens. In the summer, I can food the we grow and some I buy at the farmers market.
